Contraindications:
Caution in pregnancy. Eleuthero and hawthorn berries (in large amounts) are contraindicated in hypertension. Hawthorn berries (in large amounts) must be regulated when on ACE inhibitors or cardiac glycosides (eg. Digitalis), but are often given in combination with those drugs. Small amounts of these herbs are included in these formulas.
